Well, well, well.

Just as we were starting to think that this World Cup break might be one long boring month in terms of Celtic news, a breaking story from Ibrox has lit up this week as Rangers sack their manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

In a weird twist of fate, Ange Postecoglou has seen off the man that everyone was tipping to get him the sack last season and now with Celtic firmly in the driving seat in terms of the title race, the Ibrox club will now need to use this break to find a manager whilst our club takes a small break before training resumes next week.

Celtic sit nine points clear in the SPFL and are looking to strengthen the squad in the January transfer window.

Rangers, on the other hand, have at TEN first-team players out of contract in the summer including Morelos and Kent, whoever takes charge at Ibrox has one helluva job not only keeping on the coattails of our team but keeping the squad together as well.

The next few weeks should be interesting as we wait to see who will face Ange Postecoglou in the dugout in the New Year Glasgow Derby.

Call yourself a true Celtic fan? How well do you know the European Cup winning season?
