As Celtic fans examine the wreckage of last nights car crash at Parkhead, many will still believe the tie is not yet over.

A two goal deficit is certainly not unrecoverable, but to do that there needs to be a stark improvement on what we witnessed in the first leg from the team.

But to also do that, we need our best players available for the fight.

And when asked on The Athletic if Kyogo Furuhashi and David Turnbull have any chance of making the second leg in Norway, Devlin replied, “Almost certainly not I’m afraid.

“Neither is back in training and Postecoglou said last week that Kyogo was “two to three weeks” behind Turnbull in his recovery.”

And that is disappointing news for the Hoops fans.

Because not only does that mean they are ruled out for the second leg next week, it seems they could also miss crucial league ties against Hibs, St Mirren and Livingston.

With the business end of the season in full swing, Celtic will need at least Kyogo back in first team action as Ange Postecoglou looks to rip the league title away from the south side of Glasgow.

With more than enough personnel in the centre of midfield, Turnbull’s absence won’t be felt as much as Kyogo’s.

Let’s hope both are back as soon as possible.

We have the squad to win spl the team that played on Thurs would beat most if not all ok we didn’t get off to the best start and that upset our game plan and had to take chances our midfield was to open but Taylor let his mates down just not upto that level and got caught when you give the ball away at this level you get punished we were playing a team that has history in last couple of years if we are out less games to play and league is objective can’t see us loss a point must say brilliant way Thursday game was played no time waisting except in last 20 minutes when body players were feeling pace ref was good great advert for football but money men are the only ones that will be unhappy we are knocked out we have to or three top players out and four new players
