The Bhoys are closing in on another title shot this weekend and I for one am counting the seconds down.
The race for the league crown has, once again, been a fairly straight-forward process and it looks as though we’ve got the chance to seal it in the most sweetest of ways.
Indeed, we’re taking on you know who and it’ll certainly be nice to cap off a torrid couple of weeks for them with the latest coronation of ours.
Typically, too, such a scenario evokes memories of title awards gone by and, unfortunately, not always for the better.
Here, then, is some of the reaction after Celtic Gossip posted about that pretty awful day back in 1999…
May 2 1999 a day that is etched in every Celtic fans memory, when a club that has long since died did the huddle at Paradise. Well karma and cheating killed Rangers, but I want us to crush the tribute act and our Bhoys do the huddle for #7inarow HH pic.twitter.com/tSBM50tZRI

Instigated by Neil McCann if memory serves…and he wonders why his own family disown him. #karma

I remember that day, everyone got angry in the stand and stewards had to calm people down and usher them out. Purely provocative and meant to incense. We didn't riot, let's see how they handle it. Karma you've been a long time in coming, but great to see you.

Vowed it would be the last Celtic rangers game I ever went to. A horrible day. Atmosphere was all wrong even before a ball was kicked. Beat them with dignity on Sunday and enjoy the party

The Verdict
It really was a day to forget for many of us but at least we now get to give them a bit back.
In a way, though, I hope we win without descending to their level because that would be the biggest statement of all.
COYBIG.
