Tom Rogic has signed a new deal with the club, what a way to get this weekend off to a flying start!
The Australian had a fair few of us worried that he’d be going this summer with little news about a new contract doing the rounds.
However, last night the club announced that the Wizard of Oz had put pen to paper on a lengthy agreement and that is certainly one way to get us in a good mood ahead of this weekend’s final:
We are delighted to announce the Wizard of Oz, Tom Rogic, has signed a new five-year contract, keeping him with #CelticFC until 2023.

The Verdict
Rogic is a player we really needed to keep hold of and it looks as though that is exactly what is going to happen for some years to come.
I’m always a bit sceptical about 5-year deals these days as they are very rarely seen out but it does mean if he leaves he’ll likely command a fee and we’ll get the best of him.
Some good news to kick off proceedings this weekend, then, now let’s get that cup tomorrow.
