As Celtic took another huge step towards a treble on Saturday afternoon with an impressive 3-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle, all the plaudits were going to the flair players for helping the Hoops easily get past the Jambos.

Aaron Mooy, Jota, Reo Hatate and Kyogo were credited for breaking the Edinburgh sides hearts but there was a moment in the match that Mark Guidi highlighted from another Celtic hero that helped the team on the way to that impressive result.

That save from Joe Hart.

In fact, it was a double save but it was a save that, if not made, could have changed the course of the game.

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, Guidi said, “It was real test for them as Ange Postecoglou said there at the end of a trying week.

“Away from home at St Mirren last weekend and at home to Hearts midweek and then to Tynecastle at lunchtime on Saturday.

“But they handled it really well.

“You could tell from the first minute that they didn’t want to give Hearts a chance from the first minute in front of their own support.

“Celtic took control, the second goal killed the game just before halftime.

“Kyogo’s movement and finish was absolutely outstanding.

“And also a word for Joe Hart for the double save that he pulled off 1-0.

“Absolutely incredible and for anybody that questions Joe Hart’s suitability to be Celtics number one you got the answer right there on Saturday afternoon.”

Hart has been a sensation since signing for Celtic last summer.

After a season where we had to endure Neil Lennon swap between three keepers, having a reliable keeper between the sticks was crucial if Ange was going to win silverware in his maiden season.

But he’s not only a good keeper. He is a great leader on the pitch.

For a fee of £1m, that surely has to go down as one of the best deals of last season.

Hart has been sensational for Celtic despite his mistakes. And anyone denying that really needs to have a word with themselves.

Yes it was a great save but how it was not a foul fir the player sliding in ok any player would but never got the ball so surely a foul and no penalty for halliday challenge on Johnson and the tackle on mooy from devlin two footed didn’t even merit a foul poor from ref angi right to look for protection for his players clancy Beaton Robertson dallas just hate Celtic_fc_1888 and there plenty evidence fir prosecution and none for defendant
