With Celtic ready to face Midtjylland in les than an hours time, pundit Stephen Craigan has given his prediction on who will come out victorious in tonight’s big game.

As Celtic take a 1-1 draw over to Denmark, Craigan, speaking on The Go Radio Football Show,  reckons that although the Danes can take encouragement from the draw at Celtic Park last Tuesday, he feels the Hoops will have too much for Midtjylland and expects the Hoops to progress to the next round, “Do you know what, barring the West Ham game, I think after the game last Tuesday night, there was enough in that game to encourage the Celtic fans and Celtic team, first and foremost, that they have more than enough in their locker to go to Midtjylland and win.

“They carried a threat, they should have won the game, they should have been going with the lead. However, the weekend just highlighted the nervousness, what will be around the manager with his young back four as an inexperienced back four.

“And I’m sure that will give Midtjylland a lot of heart. And saying that, the attacking threat they have won’t be as good as what West Ham had, so  if Celtic can defend properly and defend well, they’ve got more than enough from midfield to front to go and win.”

Celtic surprised a lot of people last week with the slick football and their control of the match and up until Nir Bitton stupidly got sent off, the Parkhead side were very much the dominant side. The supporters will be hoping for more of the same as PSV Eindhoven await the potential winners of the match tonight.
