“No transfer activity signals the end for Lennon” – Pundit

|

Ex player now turned pundit, Alan Hutton, reckons Celtic’s inaction by not changing the manager now, is hindering their progress in the transfer market and that if no players are signed, it spells the beginning of the end for the Celtic boss.

Hutton believes that if the Celtic board know they are looking at a change of manager in the summer, then it will affect any business done in this window to help strengthen the side.

Speaking to Football Insider, Hutton said, Obviously, in the back of your mind as a board, if you’re thinking about having a change, are you going to support them in the transfer window?

“It’s very unlikely because these could be more mistakes getting made, if you want, especially when you’re about to make a change, so it’s obviously affected them not making a decision at the moment and carrying on with Neil Lennon.

“Which is fine, if that’s what they decide to do.

“Time’s running out if they want to try and bring people in to help them with the rest of the season so they’re going to have to make their mind up soon and decide which way they want to go.”
