As the transfer window nears it’s end, the yellow ticker tape on Sky Sports News will be getting watched more closely by the Celtic fans as the final hours tick away.
With Celtic sealing the deal for Filipe Jota and Giorgo Giakoumakis, the Hoops fans are still watching intently to see if the club will bring in one or two more reinforcements before the window “slams shut”.
With Celtic also confirming the departures of Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie to Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively, the fans have been having their say on the moves and it is fair to say that the well wishers were few and far between. Especially for Christie.
Celtic released the news that the Scotland midfielder had agreed terms with The Cherries via twitter and thanked him for his contribution to the clubs Quadruple Treble success:
“ Ryan Christie has signed for @afcbournemouth on a permanent deal. We would like to thank our #QuadrupleTreble winner for his contribution at #CelticFC and wish him every success in the future! “

The reaction to the news by the fans can be seen on the thread but here is a selection of the few that were not in the congratulatory mood:

Glad to see the back of him. No matter who you are, if you want to be elsewhere then don't let the door hit you on the way out. He obviously watched too many YouTube highlights of himself. He'll be at St Johnstone within five years

Time will tell whether he will make it at a club that will spend 80% of it’s time with it’s back to the wall defending and whether or not Christie will get the opportunity to showcase his attacking skills that he did at Celtic, but I have a sneaky feeling we will not see much of the Christie we got to know under Rodgers and started to see under Postecoglou.
