With Celtic’s title win, comes with automatic entry into the Champions League.

It’s been four long years since Celtic competed in UEFA’s premier competition and I, for one, cannot wait to see us in it again.

What I don’t want is for a repeat of those nights against Barcelona and PSG.

And somehow, under Ange, I don’t think that will be the case.

Look, I know Europe was a burst ball for us. It came too early in the rebuild to make any sort of material impact on the continent.

Next season will be a whole different ball game.

A year into Ange’s reign, and I already feel confident about us competing in the group stages.

And so does the Celtic gaffer. When asked [Football Scotland] if he had checked out the list of clubs in the competition, Postecoglou said,  “Have I had a look at the list of clubs in the Champions League? Yeah.

“Who do you fancy? You fancy all of them because you know it’s going to be a tough gig whoever you get.

“But it’s where you want to be. It’s where the clubs wants to be and where I want to be.

“I want us to go into that competition and make an impact. Champions League nights are special at Celtic Park and I can’t wait for them.”

Neither can we boss. Neither can we.
