It didn’t take long now did it.

In fact, it was a mere thirty seconds after Carl Starfelt’s O.G. went in when Hugh Keevins reverted back to type to stick the boot into Celtic after a week he had spent back tracking on his comments about Ange Postecoglou from the start of the season.

During the live Clyde 1 Superscoreboard show, Keevins let known his feelings in the immediate reaction to Rangers going 2-1 up, “Celtic have done nothing.

“They’ve not deserved to win the semi final and they won’t with the semi final.

“And I repeat, I think it’s alarming that Celtic lose a cup semi final in extra time to a team who played extra time until half past ten on Thursday night.

“I think it’s alarming and questions will have to be asked.”

Why would questions have to be asked?

This team have worked wonders and Ange Postecoglou has done nothing but continue to provide the Celtic fans with reasons to celebrate all season when we probably had no right to.

The team had a bad game. That is it.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

Ange has had his finger on the pulse all season. That is why this Celtic team have have had their foot on the necks of every other team in the league.

There are no questions needing asked. Nothing is alarming.

The only alarming thing here is a pundit’s reaction to a team losing their first domestic match since September.

This has nothing to do with you Keevins, so butt out.
You are not connected to our club in any way and we do not need your infantile comments on football. Simply put, you are not wanted and your opinions mean nothing to to us as they are never reasonable or fair.

i suppose when a team is winning a lot of games in a row some fans may have high expectations and for them to win EVERY game they play, but as with all games against Rangers i think it’s quite hard to predict the outcome but i feel celtic didn’t play as well as they can for stages in the game and a lucky goal sealed a victory

A lucky offside goal, but possession was given away too cheaply throughout, but hey ho no team can win everything, otherwise what’s the point in calling it a competition ?

  • George says:

He’s right. Questions need asked over why they were the fitter, fresher team come the end of the game when we had all week and they just played 120 mins 3 days ago. Unacceptable

Keevins is a reprobate with no discernible talent and for him to call himself a “journalist” is an embarrassment to the profession, that can be said for 95% of the scribes in this country as well. His over the top reaction to us losing one game was nothing short of scandalous, I’m told he’s from a Celtic family but you’d never know it from his attitude. I give him it tight on Twitter all the time and he can’t handle it I’m surprised he hasn’t blocked me yet but he probably doesn’t know how to do it. I’ll admit Celtic were dross on Sunday but if we were ever going to lose a derby game to them then that was the one. It would’ve been great to win a treble but one loss in 35 games is remarkable considering the clusterfuck Ange inherited in the summer. If we lose the league game at Celtic Park a week on Sunday I might be a bit more concerned but this was a blip in the grand scheme of things. If someone would’ve said in August we’d potentially win a double this season you’d have tried to have the person sectioned under the mental health act. Keevins actually said Madden didn’t affect the result, but of course he did, if he had done his job properly then they’d have had a few players sent off Aribo, Bassey, Lundstram and Roofe should all have walked, mind you the way we played they might still have won without them, but my point is Madden did affect the game. It was open season on our players on Sunday, it was operation stop the treble and it was a success. Another thing about Keevins is his annoying habit of having to enunciate every single syllable of every word he utters, I’m all for having a good vocabulary but he milks it to death. He’s nothing more than a bitter twisted hack with a beef about our club and he has a potshot every time we have a bad result. If we win this double, and we can only throw it away now, then I’ll be on his poxy show giving him both barrels because the man’s a clown.

The other night Mr kevans said that madden had turned a blind eye to the first goal in the 3.0 demolition at parkhead
Trying to justify what he done on Sunday
The lying silly old man must have watched a different game from me
as Mr madden checked with his linesman before he allowed the goal
