Report explains how Celtic could receive financial gain in transfer deal

|

Celtic are back in action this weekend as we take on Ross County in the Scottish Premiership, looking to get ourselves a win against the Highlanders.

The Bhoys have started this season fairly well but we’re heading into the middle third of the campaign soon and we need to start thinking about really raising the bar.

We slumped into the international break in fairness, and there’s a good chance we’ll need January to try and get an advantage in the title race.

On the topic of transfers, meanwhile, we could be handed a financial boost thanks to a deal we did a few years ago.

Indeed, the Daily Star is reporting that Aaron Hickey is now a target of Manchester City and if they sign him that could be a boost for us.

According to the Scottish Sun, Celtic agreed a 30% sell-on clause with his current club Hearts and so if and when he does leave Tynecastle, we could well get an extra bit of cash for ourselves.
