According to Football Insider, Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard would be open to leaving the club next year if a Champions League side came calling for him.
The French forward has been brilliant for us this season and on the international break he was brilliant to for his nation’s u21 side.
Clearly, he is a player of considerable talent and he seems headed to the very top of the game but it looks as though he is aiming – or at least open to – doing that without us.
For sure, we want to be able to offer Champions League football to him and the other players but we fell short of that this season after what happened in qualification.
It does seem likely that Edouard is going to be wanted by top clubs around the continent in the future, but let’s just hope we can hold that off for as long as possible.
