The Jota deal. This is going to be another Eddie Howe moment isn’t it?
Speculation over speculation on when will the Portuguese God sign is now ramping up even more since Cameron Carter-Vickers opted to extend his stay at Celtic Park for another four years.
So naturally, all the other attention switches to Jota.
According to the Daily Record, the deal to sing the 23 year old will be not just completed, but announced this week when the article claimed, “Both Celtic and Benfica have reasons to be cheerful over how Jota’s loan panned out last season.
“Record Sport understands negotiations are well underway to make it permanent – with a deal set to be announced this week.”
Very confident reporting from Robbie Copeland and it is one we have heard now for the last three weeks now.
Who knows when Jota will be announced? Not I or anyone else will know until we see Jota standing on the hallowed turf with the green and white scarf above his head.
But one thing is for sure, this window is going to be one of the busiest for speculation surrounding the club, especially with the amount of money coming into the club from guaranteed Champions League group football.
And I cannot wait……..
