Celtic are through to the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League and now know their potential opponents in Monday’s last 32 draw.

A dramatic night in Glasgow and Leipzig ensured that Brendan Rodgers’ side progress past Group B, despite being beaten 2-1 at home to Austrian stand-outs Salzburg.

The Hoops will be unseeded for the draw in Nyon and can face any of the seeds apart from Salzburg themselves, who can’t meet Celtic again until the last 16 of the competition.

The full list of potential opponents is: Arsenal (ENG), Bayer Leverkusen (GER), Benfica (POR), Chelsea (ENG), Dinamo Zagreb (CRO), Dynamo Kyiv (UKR), Eintracht Frankfurt (GER), Genk (BEL), Inter Milan (ITA), Napoli (ITA), Real Betis (ESP), Sevilla (ESP), Valencia (ESP), Villarreal (ESP), Zenit (RUS).

Clearly there are some monster ties in there that would really capture the imagination.

Fancy a ‘Battle of Britain’ with Chelsea? Perhaps a trip to our Spanish friends Villarreal?

None of the ties will be easy but with the right draw many Celtic fans will feel hopeful of progressing to the last 16.

Celtic are certain to play the first leg in Glasgow on 14th February before travelling away the following week on 21st February.

The draw will take place at 12pm on Monday in Nyon, Switzerland.
