Roger Hannah delivers rivals a harsh truth that drives home the reality of Celtic’s dominance

Celtic are going to be the dominant force in Scottish football for years to come.

There is absolutely no doubt about that.

When you look at what Ange Postecoglou has delivered in less than two seasons already, it is hard to see how we can be overtaken.

We have £50m in the bank, a raft of players that could be sold on to make even more money in the transfer window and a manager so far ahead of his time, I’m 100% sure that he drives a DeLorean and travels back in time to prepare for every season.

But the harsh reality is this.

Our squad is fitter, stronger and better than our rivals.

We also have a squad that is younger and committed to the club.

Our rivals, however, have a raft of first-team stars that are out of contract in the summer and journalist, Roger Hannah summed it up perfectly here.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Hannah said, “He [Beale] needs more transfer windows.

“The Rangers squad is ageing. It looked tired yesterday in comparison to the Celtic squad.

“I think from that 2019 final that Rangers lost, seven starters yesterday. Celtic had one starter.

“They haven’t turned the squad over nearly quickly enough.” 

In a parallel to our ten-in-a-row season, we have learned what happens when you hold onto players longer than you should.

Ange Postecoglou has already recycled two of his signings from last season in an attempt to keep the squad fresh and hungry.

That is why we will dominate for years.

Our manager does not stand still and whilst he is still at the helm, no one will catch us.
