So far Celtic have added seven names to the ranks since Ange Postecoglou took over the reigns and it could be eight, if the club manage to get Liam Scales from Shamrock Rovers.

Everyone knows that the rebuild was always going to be huge and so far, Postecoglou is slowly but surely putting his building blocks in place.

As the Hoops gear up for their Europa League qualifier tonight, journalist Roger Hannah, speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, has said he expects more moves this summer from Paradise and the number of additional bodies he predicts that will join the Parkhead club will leave Celtic fans excited for the season ahead,  “That’s seven signings, in the door now for Celtic under Ange Postecoglou. We just have to give them time. We have to give the manager time, we have to give the players time.

“They’re all going to need a little bit of time to settle and who, in most cases have a new country, a new club, probably a different style of play Ange Postecoglou can get this  style is  that he’s wanting Celtic to play in.

“I think Celtic fans are going to need to be patient next season, and see how McCarthy settles. How Hart settles. How Starfelt and Furuhashi all settle into the team.

“It was always going to be a summer overhaul. I would expect at least four more during this month, and there may be even more if Odsonne Edouard goes out the door, Ryan Christie, perhaps because his contract expires in January.

“It is going to be an enormous change, and it’s going to take some getting used to for Celtic fans.”

So it does seem that more moves are on the way and the Celtic fans will be hoping that cheque book will remain open for as long as Ange needs to strengthen the team.
