I genuinely don’t what’s going on at the moment.  After years of Celtic fans shouting about the liquidation lie, that “Rangers” is the same club we have had award winning television presenters, phone in shows and just yesterday John Hartson all calling out the liquidation lie.

Next up, a Celtic daft ex professional footballer took aim at the “same club” myth and it left the ‘Rangers’ supporting host lost for words.

Speaking on Talksport, self confessed Celtic fan, Trevor Sinclair, was talking on Jim White’s show about the upcoming Glasgow Derby and whether it would go ahead or not. Sinclair claimed the fixture is just not the same anymore since 2012 when he said, “It’s not an ideal situation. Obviously the Old Firm died in 2012 when Rangers went into administration.

“The Glasgow derby, the rivalry is still there, but it’s on a different level now because of the success that Celtic have had.  I think the police need to keep a very strong stance.”

Of course this didn’t go down well with the host of the show but Sinclair was only speaking the truth.  The Rangers as we knew it then went into administration on 14th February 2012 and when the club’s creditors couldn’t agree a voluntary CVA, Glasgow Rangers went into liquidation.

We all know what happened next just like we all know that it is not possible to buy titles of a dead club and claim them as your own whilst simultaneously in the same breath, denying the debt of the dead club.
