Last nights victory was more than just three points.

The reaction of the fans tells you that. That was a title winning victory.

Winning ugly is the mark of champions isn’t it?

And winning ugly takes character and leadership. And that is exactly what Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart showed last night.

Character and leadership.

As Hoops defender, Carl Starfelt, was laying injured on the ground waiting for attention, the big Swede was clearly upset at the referee for not only stopping play sooner, but for also missing the elbow that caught him in the face and apparently breaking his nose.

And he wasted no time in telling the referee exactly what he thought.

In the video, you can see the Swedish international clearly remonstrating with the ref to the point where Hart had to step in and ‘reprimand’ the big stopper.

Whatever was said by Starfelt was clearly enough for Hart to step in and give him a wee deft boot in the backside to tell him to be quiet.

But Hart’s intervention was too late and Starfelt ended up in the refs book with an eventual red card towards the end.

The impressive  part of this video is the clear respect Hart has from his team mate.

A quick word and he stops. Too late, right enough, but he still listened to the veteran goalie.

What a signing Hart has been for Celtic. At £1m, this capture has certainly been the bargain of the season so far.
