Celtic had plenty to celebrate last night in the Europa League despite suffering defeat to Red Bull Salzburg, but ultimately we did enough to squeeze through to the next round and continue our European adventures in the season of 2018/19 – but it did come at a cost.
It wasn’t a comfortable or pretty game and we largely rode our luck and needed to rely on a Tore Reginiussen leveller in the other game to see us through, but sometimes you need a bit of luck and it’s about taking it and not letting it pass.
The cost of the 90 minutes was a double injury for Mikael Lustig and Ryan Christie, and Christie’s, in particular, looked a very nasty one and fans are awaiting a full update on the potential severity.
Looks like a break.

As the above comments on social media show though, plenty fear for the 23-year-old player and if he’s out for a significant portion of time, it will be a loss for Brendan Rodgers given the goalscoring form he’s been in of late.
Hopefully, it won’t be the break many expect.
