Brendan Rodgers has been talking up Odsonne Edouard this weekend after the striker signed for us last week.
The 20-year-old was on loan at the club last season, of course, and did well with his performances against Rangers one of the highlights of my campaign personally.
Certainly, then, I’m pleased to see him back at the club long-term and I know many of us are keen to see how he improves under Brendan Rodgers.
Indeed, Rodgers appears excited to do so with him offering up this rather lavish praise of the forward:

The Verdict
Edouard has pace, power and plenty of years to learn – he has all the makings of becoming a top-level striker for sure.
He’s a determined Bhoy, too, and with him evidently happy being at the club I think we’re in for a thrill-ride over the coming seasons as he continues to improve under Brendan and with the other talents at our club.
