As Celtic take another massive step towards the league title with a huge 4-0 win over Motherwell, the Celtic fans have a lot to get excited about for the remainder of the season.
They also have another thing to get excited about as Ange Postecoglou dropped a massive hint that the deals for Jota and Cameron Carter Vickers are in the clubs plans.
Accoriding to Goal.com, Postecoglou said of the deals, “If I say we’re closer, it’s as if something’s happened. Those discussions will be taking place over the course of the next period,” he said.
“Michael [Nicholson, chief executive] is at the forefront of that with the players themselves. It will take care of itself.”
This will be a terrific piece of news for the Celtic fans as they have been urging the club to get both players tied up to permanent deals for months now.
With Celtic leading the chasing pack at the top of the league, the announcement of both these players signing on at the indefinitely would be a huge shot in the arm for the Parkhead support who are already on cloud nine after the clubs two most recent results.
