It would seem that the race for Stuart Armstrong’s signature is heating up with plenty of Premier League clubs interested in our midfielder.

Indeed, according to the News Shopper, Crystal Palace have now entered the race for the 26-year-old alongside the likes of Brighton and Southampton.

A top player on his day, I personally felt that Armstrong perhaps didn’t have the best season last year with Callum McGregor outshining him really.

Would I be happy to see him go, though? Probably not, because I still think he has something to offer.

The Verdict

Armstrong is a player I like and he’s certainly someone that I’d want to see stay put for next season.

With three Premier League clubs at least going after him, though, he might generate a bit of a bidding war and so I could potentially see the club being willing to let him go for the right price.

What would you do? Let me know!

  • If Armstrong does not want to sign for us, get him out ASAP.! He done the same ahead ago, so let us cut out the nonsense, and move him out, on our terms ,not his.! Yes he has been more than a decent player, but the club should not let him dictate too them. Is he trying out his lawyers skills?. Move him out!. Now.
