Celtic have about ten players currently out on loan.
Out of that ten, who would you take back?
Ideguchi? Shaw? Soro? Montgomery?
I would say probably none of these purely based on how the team is performing at the moment. There just isn’t a space for them.
But what every one of them should be thinking of is coming back and proving a point, right?
Not this one. Not Vasilis Barkas. And his latest comments show that he has already ended any hopes of working with Ange before he has even returned to the club.
As reported by the Daily Record, Barkas said, “My behaviour was very normal.
“I know what I can do and I don’t have to prove myself. Only at the weekend (during games), not on the training field.
“Everything revolves around your mind. That’s how I used to be.”
Not very impressive reading. And it didn’t impress these fans one bit.
The only goalie I’ve ever seen ‘dive’, who’s feet land further away from the direction he is supposed to be diving than where they started. Figure that one out 🤷♂️

I’ve seen some terrible goalkeepers in my time watching Celtic but at least every one of them actually made some saves and could be verified as the aforementioned. Every shot whizzed by him like he was a random picked from the crowd as we had ran out of players.

Totally useless is barkas, could not understand why we paid near on 5 million on this guy . Did not rate him when he played for a.e.k Athens against us.
