Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie won his fourth cap for the Scotland national team tonight, producing a man-of-the-match calibre performance away to Albania.
Alex McLeish’s outfit won 4-0 in UEFA Nations League action, with Celtic stand-outs like Christie and James Forrest leading the charge when it came to the side’s creativity and attacking output.
Christie was instrumental in the build-up to the first goal of the evening, setting up Ryan Fraser to fire home, before terrifying the Albanian defence after they went down to ten men.
The 23-year-old has taken every chance that has come his way recently in Celtic colours and having been given the nod to start his first competitive match in international action, he did so again this evening.
Scottish football fans were hugely impressed with his display and took to Twitter to share their rave reviews..

Funny old game.. Iโve advocated Ryan Christie as a brilliant talent for ages. He was surprised to get a contract under Terry Butcher at Inverness, had a tough last season at Aberdeen, a sub arrival at Murrayfield and things take off. He has un-Scottish touch and vision.
