Plenty of Celtic fans aren’t impressed with the latest transfer links to Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.
The Daily Mail were one of many outlets reporting on Wednesday morning that the Hoops have had a £3.5m bid for the Dons man rejected this week.
The bid comes after transfer drama involving Dedryck Boyata and the desperate need for Celtic to improve on players already at the club, with a number of avoidable goals conceded recently.
Scott McKenna would certainly appear to have potential. At 21 years of age he’s emerged as one of the better defenders in the Scottish Premiership and has already won a handful of caps with the Scotland national team.
He has aggression and physicality, two things currently lacking in the Hoops backline.
However, some supporters are struggling to get their head around the interest, taking to Twitter to question the judgement of whoever is pursuing the deal at Celtic Park…
