There is nothing quite like Celtic twitter.
Whenever someone praises or attacks the club, you can be sure the Celtic fans will be there for the love in or the payback.
And it seems UEFA certainly have a ‘thing’ for Celtic at the moment as after their brilliant Jota tweet last week, the football authority paid tribute to Spartak Moscow’s Jordan Larsson by comparing him to his dad, Henrik.
In a simple tweet after Larsson Jr’s goal scoring exploits in Spartak’s latest Europa League fixture, UEFA simply tweeted, “Like father, like son #UEL“

And the Celtic responses were excellent with one fan cheekily making in a cashing in comment:
Europa League cashing in on the Celtic likes for the 100th time

Europa league using the biggest club in its competition for likes again. Don’t blame them

Why the hell is he not at Celtic!!?

If only we put an offer in for him when we had the chance. Usual, too little too late from Celtic.

Young Larsson, I say young, he’s actually 24 years old, was tipped to join Celtic back in August when legendary Swedish international striker Marcus Allback said he would be a ‘perfect fit’ for the Hoops, “If Jordan Larsson was to sign for Celtic, I know that would be a great signing for both the player and the club.
“Jordan is a great player and has a lot of good qualities that he could bring to the team. He’s not the tallest, but he is strong, his mentality of working hard and always making runs, taking on players and his effort to defend, is something that would suit playing for Celtic.”
There is no doubt that ship has sailed as Larsson is valued in excess of £12m which would automatically price him out of any move to Celtic Park.
If only.
