The loss of ten in a row still hurts the Celtic fans. Of that there is no doubt. The focus on the last potential record breaking title was as such, that the club lost it’s way and as it stands now, Ange Postecoglou is picking up the pieces of that with his first team rebuild.

It truly was a remarkable nine seasons to witness. Nine in a row twice and a record breaking Quadruple Treble.

The success Celtic have had is incredible.

One of the things that irks the Celtic fans more than anything else is the manner the club gave up not only that long coveted title but also the League Cup and Scottish Cup that was successfully retained four years in a row.

But there is also one other part of the ten that annoys the Celtic fans (is annoy the correct word?) and it is the over selling of Rangers winning their 55th title to stop it.

The majority of Celtic fans, and Scotland for that matter, recognise this title as Rangers’ first.

Every football fan witnessed the administration and eventual liquidation of the Rangers we used to know.

Debts cast aside, but evidently not history as that can be bought. Ok, assets can be bought but lets not get pedantic here.

Speaking on the Keys & Gray podcast, Charles Green made an incredible claim that, if the Rangers fans answered, would blow not only their disdain of their former owner out the water, but also the liquidation event that they so conveniently forget happened in 2012.

When asked by Richard Keys if he did save the club, Green’s answer was simple but brutally effective, “I said that to these guys in Paris the other year.

“There’s two options. Either I’ve saved Rangers and you’ve just won your 55th trophy.

“Or I didn’t save Rangers and you’ve won your first competition. Well done lads.

Well,  let’s hear it Rangers fans. What’s the answer to this conundrum?
