There seems to be a lot of transfer speculation surrounding Celtic at the moment.

Vital Celtic alone has reported on two different stories already today and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

As Anthony Joseph tweeted today, Celtic are on the verge of a triple signing from Japan and activating the release clause of Jota’s contract in an attempt to bring the Portuguese wing wizard to Paradise permanently.

Joseph also reported that Vasilis Barkas is attracting interest from a number of Turkish clubs but didn’t specify who the clubs where.

Greek journalist, Giannis Chorianopoulos, who works for media outlet Sportime.com, has shed a little light on the Barkas story and although he didn’t delve into which clubs it is that are showing interest, he did divulge the number of clubs via twitter:

This is good news, not only for Celtic, but also the player.

Barkas has failed to settle properly in Glasgow or tie down the number one spot as his own. A number of high profile errors not only last season, but also this season, made up Celtic boss, Ange Postecoglou’s mind that the Greek international is not up to the task of playing for Celtic.

A move away could do him the world of good and a loan move could be beneficial for both Celtic and Barkas as it could help him rediscover the form that convinced the Hoops to shell out £5m for him last summer.
