The weekly press conference just turns into a game of “wait and spot the daft journalist question” doesn’t it?
And for every question these media guys throws at Ange, the Celtic gaffer is always two steps ahead of them.
I mean, why on earth would the Celtic manager want to comment on our rivals European exploits when we are on the cusp on winning the league trophy if we beat them in the Glasgow Derby.
It’s as if they are trying to set the manager up for a fall.
But after all that has happened this season, after all the times he throws the questions right back at them, they still continue their inane questions.
And Ange’s European Cup answer at the press conference [Celtic TV] was just superb. Have a watch (it’s been given a little bit of Vital Celtic TikTok treatment):
gerrymac70 : “I make a point of watching all his press conferences.
“I am never disappointed. Honest answers never avoids any point raised.
“He is always supportive of his staff. A brilliant leader; who could give less than 110% for this man.
“He has developed players too.e.g.Tony Ralston and Nir Bitton. I reckon Ralston is now one of the best crosses of a ball at the club. He deserves success. Hail Hail!!”
Ian Brenner: “So great to see Ange getting appreciated. To most Aussies this is probably not surprising as he is really just displaying traits quite common in the Aussie psyche and mentality. A winner. A straight shooter no BS person.”
Pat O: “What another impressive performance at a press conference.
“The traps laid were turned back on the questioner.
“Humility intelligence and wit-the hallmarks of an Ange presser. It’s not just about football he just represents Celtic so well.”
Paul: “The way he answered the question I’m the Japanese bhoys! The way he asked that question was so disrespectful!
“Can see why the players are giving everything for this man , if folk treat you with respect and back you the you’ll more often than not get it back!”
Ange has just endeared himself even further to the Hoops fans with this brilliant answer.
