Let’s get this move done.
It’s a no brainer. Even if we don’t win the league (which we will), Cameron Carter-Vickers to Celtic on a permanent deal MUST get done. No excuses.
The man has been a colossus at the heart of the meanest defence in the league and if we are to embark on a Champions League journey next season, defenders like CCV are a must if we are to have any success in the competition,
But it seems the deal could be completed this summer according to a London based journalist.
Speaking to Football London, Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold said, “Of the loan players, Cameron Carter-Vickers will move on this summer with Celtic expected to take up the option to make his loan move permanent for a fee of £6million, eventually reaching £10million with potential add-ons.”
I certainly hope so.
Good defenders are hard to come by and not since Vigil Van Djik have we seen such a solid and confident centre back at the club.
CCV has the potential to be one of the best defenders in the game if he continues his development at Paradise and he could yet earn his ‘big’ move with the exposure Celtic gives him in the Champions League next season.
