Alan Nixon has taken to Twitter once more to give an update on Odsonne Edouard’s transfer status.
As reported by Vital Celtic last night, Nixon was dropping all manner of nuggets of information about Celtic’s transfer business with one significant tweet saying, “Odsonne Edouard fever. Crystal Palace have now made an official offer. In 15m region. Close to Rubin Kazan and with Bordeaux also involved. Celtic have their auction …”
Well the Odsonne Edouard fever is almost at it’s pitch as when quizzed by a twitter user if he had any update on Edouard’s situation, Nixon tweeted, “Just waiting on confirmation of something …”

Speculation is rife amongst the media that Crystal Palace, Everton and Rubin Kazan are all ready to bid or have bid £15m for the big Frenchman’s services and it is yet unknown if the Hoops have accepted these offers.
One would hope that a bid starting as low as the reported figures would also be on top of a sell on clause for Edouard because at just 23 years old, the young striker still has a long way to go in the game and will only get better.
A report from The Guardian has also said the Crystal Palace are deciding whether to sign Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah or Odsonne Édouard before the window closes but the move for the Arsenal forward will depend on whether or not The Gunners are willing to drop their original asking price of £20m.
It will be an interesting last couple of days of the transfer window, but incomings as well as outgoings are expected at Celtic Park.
