Every Celtic fan knows that Ange Postecoglou oozes class.

The Australian has been a breath of fresh air at Celtic and the fans have said from day one that the gaffer is just a class above every other manager in the league.

Attentive, laser focused and loves all things Celtic, Ange just gets the club and the supporters.

But it’s not only his relationship with the fans that has impressed pundits in the game.

It is also his character and knowledge of Scottish football.

And former Rangers defender Alan Hutton revealed a brilliant ‘touch of class’ as he chatted to Ange after the league cup final win last weekend.

Speaking to Football Insider, Hutton said, “You can never say never in football.

“You just do not know what is round the corner.

“One thing I would say is that what he has done is remarkable and no wonder there is other teams looking at him.

“The turnaround, the recruitment, the players that he has brought in have been excellent. He is performing at a high level and he comes across as a really genuine guy.

“At the cup final Ange came out the tunnel and walked right over to us and he stood and chatted for ten minutes.

“He was answering questions, he was talking about me and my career. I was thinking ‘how does he even know me?’.

“It felt strange but it was a touch of class. He did not have to do it. He talks a lot of sense so it does not surprise me that he is a really likeable guy.“

It sounds as if Hutton was star-struck by the Celtic gaffer and it seems that wherever Ange goes, he turns those doubters into believers.

Ange is clearly a knowledgeable man.

At the early part of his career, those in the media used to try and discredit his knowledge of Scottish football and the fact that he knew about Alan Hutton’s career just shows you the mark of the man.

A true class act is our gaffer.
