I’m not sure how I missed this but as it goes I did.

As the news reverberated around Celtic circles that Jota could be about to, or has chosen, Celtic to be his next permanent club the fans will be delighted that the Portuguese winger will be strutting his stuff on the hallowed turf at Paradise.

The fans love him. His flair, his energy and not knowing what he’s going to do next with the ball is what every Celtic supporter loves in a wide player.

So now it just leaves Cameron Carter-Vickers. The last piece of the jigsaw.

Solid all season, CCV reminds us just how important it is to get the back line fixed as well as the forward line.

But that deal could be in jeopardy as Larry Henry jr pointed out on twitter over the weekend.

The American journalist, who works for the media outlet SBI Soccer who broke the news that Celtic were in ‘advanced talks‘ with the defender confirmed interest from an English Championship club:

Ordinarily, this wouldn’t be a worry but there is an ambition for Carter-Vickers to play in the EPL and with The Cottagers gaining automatic promotion to the money league, could that be enough to persuade CCV to go and take another crack at a league where he may feel he has unfinished business?
