Celtic star Odsonne Edouard is the subject of yet another possible bid from a team in the English Premiership as Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta. looks to strengthen his front line for the Gunners.

Arteta has been a long term admirer of the Hoops hitman and Edouard has made it clear of his desire to move from the East End of Glasgow.  Edouard has only just under 18 months left on his current contract and so far has not signed an extension to prolong his stay as the Scottish Champions.

Celtic had earlier in the season slapped a £40m price tag on the French u-21 star to ward off any potential suitors but with the strikers contract gradually running down, The Hoops board are seemingly willing to accept bids of around £25m as the Frenchman value will continue to fall as long as a new contract remains unsigned.

Edouard is also the subject of intense speculation about a move to Leicester City. The Foxes boss, Brendan Rodgers, has also been tracking the Frenchman but a bid has yet to materialise.

Edouard recently switched agents to The Stellar Group, who negotiated Kieran Tierney’s move to The Gunners, in a move that shows the hitman is serious about his intentions to leave the Glasgow giants.

Juventus is also rumoured to be interested in taking Edouard to Turin so there is stiff competition in the race for the strikers signature which can only be good news for the Celtic power brokers as more interested clubs means the price the Hoops receive could increase.

Any move Edouard manages to make will see the big striker receive a significant pay rise. Vital Celtic revealed the salary gap in the first team squad and Edouard could easily command at least five times his current Celtic salary.
