With the transfer window well upon us now, the speculation surrounding the club is even more intense now than I can ever recall.
For example, after I wrote the Fabrizio Romano piece on Juranovic, a Celtic fan on Facebook said I should be sacked for it and should go work for the Daily Record (not quite Record, but you get what I mean)!
That is where we are at. Obviously I replied with the same courtesy and respect the faceless social media profile offered me, but that is a prime example of where the Celtic fans are at.
Anyway, another rumour popped up just yesterday and it seems it has made the headlines in Nigeria.
Stephen Odey is someone who I wrote about yesterday and whilst the players club commented on the speculation, there was no direct link to him and Celtic.
According to All Nigeria Soccer, the Hoops have made contact with the players club.

It’s not known how much it would take to prise Odey away from the Danish club Randers, but it does seem that Ange may be in the market for another Giakoumakis type centre forward.
Standing at 6ft 2″, Odey is hardly a goal machine with a conversion rate of less than 1 goal every three games.
I just wonder if there is much legs in this story, if any at all.
