This is how good this guy is.

When Celtic’s interest in Taylor Harwood-Bellis first became public, not many Celtic fans had heard of the 20 year old England u21 captain.

Harwood-Bellis currently plays in the Manchester City u23 squad and after a successful loan spell at Anderlecht under City legend Vincent Kompany, it now looks like the youngsters career is going from strength to strength.

The 20 year old then found himself out on loan at Stoke City and made twenty one appearances for the Championship side and returned to his home team this summer and was instantly linked with a move to the Scottish Champions alongside Ko Itakura.

According to Si.com, Harwood-Bellis has impressed Gareth Southgate so much that he is now in the frame for a first team international call up.

It does seem that the Man City youngster has a very bright future in the game and where else would be a better place to develop and hone his skills than Celtic Park.

Looking at our history of developing defenders, Virgil Van Djik and ex Man City man Jason Denayer have all gone on to bigger and better leagues (not clubs) after cutting their teeth in a Celtic jersey for a season or two.
