One player probably detested by Celtic fans more than any outwith the SPFL that I can remember.
The fans have always had an affinity for Brazilians visiting Celtic Park.ย Ronaldinho and Kaka are two that come to mind that the fans took to their hearts just because they were absolute magicians on the ball. Loved the game and loved the fans at Paradise.
And Neymar has the skill, but his attitude is what Celtic fans don’t like.
The theatrics of the Brazilian that night at Celtic Park with the infamous Tony Ralston laugh in your face picture left a sour taste in the mouths of the supporters and to be honest, nothing much has changed since then.
Well here we are again, four years later, and we have another Celtic player involved with the little Brazilian. Namely our own Kyogo.
The Japanese striker faced up to the Brazilians in the 1-0 defeat in which Neymar scored the winning penalty and this tackle sent a ripple of happiness through the Celtic support:
