Let’s remind ourselves exactly what he said, ” What are you gonna get for him now? Because his performances since he’s come back are not going to get you double figures. So what do they get? £5m for him and take it from there?”
Adam was roundly criticised, no, in fact lets just call it as it is. Adam was roundly slaughtered by Celtic fans for a comment that reeked of bitterness and a couple of days later he reappeared on the show that he made the first comment on to double down.
Speaking on the PLZ Football Show, Adam continued, “If you’re not performing at your level. You’re still going to get five to eight million for Edouard.
“It’s still not gonna be double figures so the Celtic fans can try and come for me again.”
Oh dear. I hope Adam is hiding behind his couch now because this is going to ruin his day.
Fabrizio Romano last night confirmed that a deal had been struck between Celtic and Crystal Palace for their French u21 star Edouard in late night transfer drama that will see at least £15m smashing the Celtic bank account later today.
In a tweet sent at 1134pm, Romano confirmed that a medical will take place this morning and personal terms have already been agreed:
