There has been a lot of narratives being thrown around about this league title win.

No, not the narratives from our rivals but those from Celtic pundits, and pundits in general in the game.

Comparisons are already being made about how this league title fares against others in our history and former Celtic defender Mark Wilson made this astonishing claim on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard“Celtic are champions this afternoon and round it off with a sensational performance to mark a remarkable season.

“I think, I really think it’s up there with the greatest league titles they have won.

“Because the rebuild that Ange Postecoglou faced, the criticism even when he came in and now opening stages of his career, trying to get these players and meanwhile trying a rescue squad from last season that fell 25 points behind.

“And up against a good Rangers side that’s what you always need to remember, it’s not bad Rangers side that he’s beaten to this title.

“It’s a very good one. So it’s been quite an astonishing season from Celtic.”

I mean I can think of at least four or five titles Celtic have won that have been momentous in our history.

Stopping ten in a row is an obvious one. The ‘Hearts’ title in the 80’s, the one that secured our second nine in a row and Martin O’Neill’s first Treble season.

Is this one right up there as one of the greatest?

You know what? You’re damn right it is.
