The speculation surrounding the events going on at Ibrox has reached fever pitch this week.
As the club scramble around to find a new manager, one name that has been mentioned is Livingston’s David Martindale.
Martindale, for some reason, seems to be a popular choice with a section of the Rangers fans and he was asked about it when he collected his Manager of The Month Award for October.
As reported by PLZ Soccer, Martindale said, “I’ve seen that. I’ve seen about 1000 GIFS. A thousand GIFS.
“I’m sick of that wee Hasbullah. He’s actually the bane of my life now.
“I think I get more stick than Gio when Gio was the Rangers manager.
“So no, nobody’s been in touch. I don’t envisage anybody being in touch and I look forward to seeing who Rangers bring in.”
We’ve all seen the GIF’s too and they are being shared, in the main, by Celtic fans who are very happy that the Livi gaffer seems to be in the frame for the Ibrox hot seat.
It doesn’t really matter who gets that job because we have a manager who is not afraid to take on the likes of Carlo Ancellotti and Marco Rose, the likes of Martindale and Dyche and Beale won’t cause Ange to lose any kind of sleep.
