There are several areas on the pitch that Celtic need to address this summer and in defence things are perhaps most pressing.
The Bhoys have been excellent in recent years in dominating the domestic game but they now need to evolve with a changing of the guard going on.
Some of the older players are leaving and Neil Lennon needs to shape things to his style, something that could see a fair few signings made.
However, it is clear that Liam Lindsay is not going to be one of those arrivals.
After a leaked document showed some names that we were looking at, fans started to ask who else might be being considered, with a Barnsley fan concerned Lindsay might be of interest to that.
He asked Alan Nixon:

I’d have liked to seen him arrive this window but it seems as though we have other targets in mind.
