After all the negativity he has been receiving over the transfer rumours that have been surrounding him recently, I thought it was about time I shared some positive vibes for Josip Juranovic.
The Croat has been subjected to much-mixed criticism after talks over his latest contract extension broke down and, to all intents and purposes, it does look like he will be moving on in January.
And today, he helped Croatia qualify for the next round of the World Cup whilst in the process of knocking out one of the tournament favourites, Belgium.
Juranovic played a star role in the match and kept Lukaku and Co quiet as the number 2 team in the world failed to live up to their huge expectations.
So whilst it is disappointing that Juranovic may want to leave the club, he is still one of our own.
So here is a series of tweets praising the Croat for his special performance and becoming the third Celt to make it into the last 16 in Qatar:
It's crazy that while there is players like De Bruyne and Modric on the pitch – Juranovic, while not being the best player, is clearly the most tactically intelligent and well coached.
That's the Ange effect. His influence on this World Cup is so clear.

He'll have clubs lining up sign him in January, and will sign for an elite side, and the guy sitting next to you at Celtic Park will tell you Ralston has better delivery. They don't have a clue about football.

People trying to claim Ralston is a better Right Back than Juranovic 😂😂😂😂😂 give over !

Man Utd could do a whole lot worse then signing Croatia's Juranovic from Celtic. Quality attacking full back that can play on either side for less than half of what was paid for AWB.

Juranovic shouldn’t be sold for less than 20 million. He can play at the top level

Romelu Lukaku has got to score that, the block from Josip Juranović is exceptional before it bounced back out to Lukaku who just tried to put a bit too much whip on it. Has got to be scoring from that range it’s a perfect angle for him.

The speed of Juranovic closing that ball down was something special. Really showing his worth his World Cup and maybe a huge pay day for Celtic next year.
