Celtic will have started their recruitment for next season early.
You can be sure of that.
Ange Postecoglou has already shown that he doesn’t hang around when it comes to strengthening key areas of the team and it seems from all the reports from last week, he is scouring the transfer market for that next signing.
But all we want to know right now is Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota ready to sign on permanently?
That has been the burning question for months now from the Celtic fans but the club still remains tight lipped.
But according to Pete O’Rourke, Celtic may already have other options in the pipeline should Carter-Vickers decide not to extend his stay in Glasgow.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, O’Rourke said, “He’s been really impressive at Celtic, slotted straight into the team under Ange Postecoglou and been among the top performers for the club.
“I think they will be desperate to get this deal done, but I’m sure Celtic’s scouting and recruitment team have got other options on the table if they aren’t able to sign the USA international.”
One thing is for sure, I have more confidence in recruitment under Ange than I have had for a very long time.
Probably since Gordon Strachan’s time at the club if I am honest.
The gaffer will have other targets but, for now, let’s hope he can cut a deal to get CCV to Celtic permanently this summer.
