The fan frenzy after yesterdays 6-0 demolition of Dundee at Celtic Park has never been so high.

From the lows of losing ten in a row to the massive rebuild that was facing the club this year, the Celtic fans looked forward to this season with trepidation rather than expectation.

Over pre season and in the first few European ties, the supporters could see glimpses of the style of football Ange Postecoglou wanted to play but what they could also observe is that the players we had in certain areas of the pitch, although their effort was commendable, were just not good enough to carry out Ange’s instructions.

That was then and what a difference one game makes.

The outlook for the fans has never been more positive and with Postecoglou only just dipping his toe into the transfer market, the Celtic faithful cannot wait to see what other gems he can unearth because going by Kyogo and Abada, Postecoglou certainly has an eye for a player.

In his post match press conference, Ange gave the fans a small hint to when to expect incomings and it looks like they won’t have to wait too long to see some new recruits“I mean offers and potential, again, I’ve been at pains to say, I’d rather talk about the ones we’ve done and at the moment,  there aren’t any we’ve done.

“We’re working on a few and on, as I said, I’m hopeful we’ll get some couple of players in the squad in the next sort of seven days.”

The next seven days. The next seven days will let us see what Postecoglou can unearth and  that gives the new blood time to bed into the side before the Glasgow Derby at the end of the month.

The future is looking a lot brighter now than it did just a few short weeks ago.
