As the celebrations rolled on on Saturday afternoon at Celtic Park, the pundits on BBC Sportsound noticed a significant difference in one Celtic players actions compared to the others.

Presenter, Richard Gordon was describing what was happening on the pitch during the celebrations when he said, “I’m just watching a couple of players actually.

“James McCarthy, he broke away from the group fairly early with his small child.

“Christopher Jullien is out with his is young son. He does actually have a winners medal round his neck.”

Jim Duffy interrupted and said, “He looks a bit forlorn doesn’t he? He doesn’t look like he’s joining in”

Tom English interjected, “He is separated from the rest of it so.”

And Richard Gordon said , “That tells it’s own story.”

English continued, “He’s a professional football player. He’s 21 years of age he wants to play. He says he has been fit since January and he hasn’t had a look in.

“So he needs to play. And as great as this is, he won’t feel a part of this.”

After Jullien’s outburst on Friday, it does now look as if the players head is not at Celtic.

I mean, if you can’t get yourself up for trophy day and segregate yourself from the rest of the team during those celebrations, as Richard Gordon says, that really does tell it’s own story.

Is it time up for Jullien?
