Celtic, this season and last, have been relentless.

One defeat in almost a full calendar year tells you that what Ange Postecoglou has, and still is, building at the club is something special.

With great attacking football coupled with plenty of goals, Ange’s team domestically has been imperious.

Had it not been for a poor performance in last season’s Scottish Cup semi-final, we would have been onto yet another treble, but as it was, we had to settle for just a league and cup double.

Talk about slumming it.

Speaking of slumming it, enjoy the wisdom of Allan Hutton as he gives us his views on what is one of Celtic’s weaknesses.

You can also enjoy some of his best moments of ‘wisdom’ regarding our club in the articles listed above.

Speaking in Football Insider, Hutton said, “Everybody wants to strengthen and upgrade but there aren’t too many weak points I see at this moment in time.

“Their only weakness is, and this is going to sound a bit silly, but the way they play, they’re so relentless going forward that they obviously leave gaps at the back.

“They’ve got this mentality, they go to the end, if you score two, we’ll score three. It’s obviously a great thing to have.

“I’m sure Ange will want to bring somebody in, he’ll have targets in mind. I’m not sure in what positions, if I’m totally honest, because even if they weren’t to bring anybody in, they’re still in a very strong position.

“They’ve got strength in depth all over the pitch, two players in each position. They’re in a healthy position at this moment.”

In Europe, yes we have been found wanting. But like I said, domestically we have been imperious.

This season we have only conceded 13 goals. Three of those in a 4-3 away win at Hearts and in fifteen fixtures we have dropped just three points.

Weakness? Don’t make me laugh. Our footballing stye will let us dominate for years to come and Ange is already working on the fixes to ensure it works in Europe.
