Celtic’s strengthening over the summer has brought some good competition into key areas of the team.

Not only has the first team squad been bolstered, but we now have some good cover for in positions of the team the let us down badly last season.

Juranovic at right back, Kyogo and Giakoumakis up front as well as Carl Starfelt and Cameron Carter Vickers have all brought some quality to the side this season.

But what about those on the fringes? Do they still have a future at the club? Not according to 67 Hail Hail if your name is Boli Bolingoli or Conor Hazard.

With Celtic’s Europa League squad named during the week, 67 Hail Hail believe that those two notable omission’s from the squad may lead you to believe that their career’s at Celtic Park are over.

Bolingoli I get. If you find yourself as the only recognised and most experienced left back at a club on the eve of a massive derby game but still can’t make the squad and a new right back is put in ahead of you, I think it’s safe to assume your services are no longer required.

But Hazard? Really? The article was very well written and again, the boys at 67 Hail Hail do know their stuff about all things Celtic, but have they jumped the gun on this one?

At just 23 years old, Hazard has broken into the Northern Irish international team was called up for the triple header this month were he was substituted on in the countries 1-0 friendly win over Estonia.

Last season he was part of the historic Quadruple Treble where his heroics in the Scottish Cup Final, saving two penalties, to help create another piece of Celtic history.

Granted, yes, he had made two mistakes during the match which caused two Hearts goals, but at just 23 years old, is this not the perfect time for those mistakes to be made?

He was rotated by Neil Lennon in the shambles that was Celtic at the time of going for ten in a row, but still failed to stake a claim for the number 1 jersey. But with the back four the team had at that time, was that entirely Hazard’s fault?

Personally, I don’t feel the urge to call time on his career. Yet.

Even though he finds himself fourth in the pecking order, there is still plenty of time for Hazard to develop into a very good keeper for Celtic.

Just look at David Marshall as an example of that.

A loan move for the young Irishman would be the best option at this stage in his career, but to say his career is finished is wrong. Right?
