Celtic fans are delighted with the impact Neil Lennon has made at the club after Wednesday night’s win away to Hearts at Tynecastle, quickly forgetting why they loved Brendan Rodgers so much anyway.
Lennon displayed a genuine passion and excitement for the Hoops last night that is hard to beat, inspiring Celtic a late 2-1 win against Craig Levein’s outfit thanks to goals from James Forrest and Odsonne Edouard.
Dropping points would have been a disaster considering Rangers had beaten Dundee at Ibrox, with momentum potentially tightening the title race significantly.
Lennon instils a passion in fans that nobody coming into the club, including Rodgers, could ever match.
Rodgers may have delivered serious success, but supporters love the former Hoops midfielder that much more and it was incredible to see that in full effect on Wednesday night.
Fans can now move on in confidence and begin to forget about the Rodgers era and focus on the challenges ahead at the end of this season.
These supporters took to Twitter last night to share their thoughts on the Lennon effect…

48 hrs ago loved Rodgers and thought he was immortal.
24 hrs ago hated the man and didn’t know how we’re going to move forward.
To now buzzing we’ve got Neil Lennon to deliver 8 and possibly 10IAR 😁😅 https://t.co/uddYt8w2xw

A difficult week cleansed by the presence of Neil Lennon and a MASSIVE goal by Odsonne Edouard.
Who is Brendan Rodgers? I don't fucking care.
This is war until the end of May and we just proved we are ready for it.
Want our title? Come and take it you manky bastards.

Incredibles season
The double treble
Clinching the 7th title at CP 5-0
7 trophies in a row
Dembele hattrickSo many highlights from the Rodgers era. Such a shame it ended with him seeking out the door.
Tremendous Celtic Pride when Neil Lennon appeared from tunnel tonight.

After all the meltdowns the slow realisation that we've come out of this with the better manager will give us a real boost. Lennon is on the same page as us regarding the moronic tiki taka pish Rodgers wanted our back 4 & GK to indulge in.Ditching that pish will help us in Europe

Celtic’s win tonight and Neil Lennon’s reaction to the goal and the final whistle just shows that Brendan Rodgers wasn’t right for the club anyway up the Celts
