Ange Postecoglou really is something isn’t he?

Comes to a new country, new league, new culture all on his lonesome, takes on a huge club with all it’s staff and goes and wins the league.

It’s genuinely the stuff of fairy tales.

Postecoglou embraced the staff at his disposal and it paid off in bucket fulls.

Gavin Strachan, John Kennedy and all the scouting and B team staff all bought into Postecoglou’s vision but it seems the Celtic boss could be in for a summer headache as at least two of them have been linked with the vacant Dundee job.

The Tayside club were eventually relegated after what looks like was an ill fated move to bring in Mark McGhee to save them from the drop.

But as they now know their fate, according to Football Scotland, the Dens Park chiefs are turning their attentions to Gavin Strachan and Darren O’Dea as possible successors to McGhee as they bid to bounce right back up from Scotland’s second tier.

The report claims Strachan is the favourite to head up the club with O’Dea third favourite alongside Jack Ross to take over the club.

Postecoglou won’t want to lose any of them, especially Strachan as he has been at pains all season to point out how important the coach was to help Ange lead the rebuild of the club this summer.
