As the Celtic fans look forward to a massive European fixture against Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night in the BayArena, they will be confident leading into the match that on the teams current run of form, they can hopefully take something from the game to keep their Europa League hopes alive.
With European football guaranteed in the form of the Conference League, the club still have an outside chance to make the knockout stages of Europe’s second tier competition.
With the team on great form and witnessing some very good performances from the likes of Callum McGregor, Anthony Ralston and Josip Juranovic, it was two standouts from the weekend’s Premier Sports Cup semi final that caught the Celtic supporters eye.
But clearly not Sky Sports pundit, Kris Boyd.
Boyd has the ‘task’ of coming up with a team of the week for The Sun, and for the second time this season, he had made a complete hash of it when it comes to recognising Celtic talent.

As he announced his team of the week, there were two notable standouts that the Celtic fans picked up on and couldn’t believe Boyd missed them out of his team. Jota and Nir Bitton.
Both players were absolutely outstanding on Saturday evening and it seems they just didn’t do enough for Boyd to include them in his team.
And the Celtic fans absolutely revelled in it and wasted no time in highlighting his ‘oversight’:
